Old Notification Returns Daily

I have an old app notification that keeps coming back daily, sometimes many times daily. I clear all notifications and it just keeps coming back. Weird thing is, it keeps placing itself over other notifications.

This is on my 6S+ on iOS 10. My 6S on iOS 10 doesn't have the problem.

Anyone else notice this?

Me too. It happens for messages I have read entirely in the iPhone. The remedy is erading them again the Watch. It has happended as of lately so it may be the last revision of iOS or Watch OS.

I don't have a watch. I'm thinking of just deleting the app on the phone that this is happening with and maybe reinstall.

Because it's a news app. Notifications are one of the greatest features of any news app for me.

It has happened with me too, however a reboot usually fixes this glitch.

Yeah, once in a while a glitch like that comes up, and usually a restart does the trick.

I get that with phone calls. I have notifications that I got one or sometimes a few phone calls and it never rang or nobody called.
