why apple WHY? this is a huge problem for me in iOS 6. someone please tell me it's gone in iOS7?

say you have a contact that changed their number, you type in

"matt"

it will show every single phone number associated with that contact even if you removed it from your contacts list.

another gripe, my ex. i have her name saved as "do not respond". if i type in "r" (the first letter of her name), the "do not respond" contact still appears. if i type in her full name, "do not respond" shows up. i have deleted her contact and readded it, but it still does the same thing.

why does messages cache these god damn contacts like this?

is there a fix for this in iOS 6 other than restoring as new?
