So I got my macbook pro just under a year ago, it came with the nvidia 330m, 512mb video card. I see they now come with a new card: AMD Radeon HD 6750M w/ 1gb

What is the comparison between the two video cards? Does the new card support Direct X 11?

Thanks.

The new card is much faster than the 330m and does support DX11. This should clarify the difference in speed pretty well.

The ATI 6750 is about 50%-100% faster than the old 330m.

If the only game you play is World of Warcraft, you might actually want to stick to your 330m since the performance of the ATI 6750m is not so great for that game :p

Sim3 (high)
330m = 40 fps
6750m = 51 fps

maffia 2 ( ultra ):
330m = 19 fps
6750m = 26 fps

starcraft 2 ( ultra ):
330m = 14 fps
6750m = 24 fps

metro 2033 ( high ):
330m = 10 fps
6750 = 22 fps
