My old PowerBook's screen went all green with no contrast.
I can just about see stuff...but. it really hurts your eyes. Pity 'cos everything else seems to work fine
In fact my 7 year old, just uses( used) it for drawing and playing her 9.9.2 cd roms.
I 've tried re booting.... leaving it off for several days... and staring nastily at it and shouting.... its still all green.
Any LAST ditch efforts I can try before sending it too that big Applel in the Sky.( its a real old P/B G3 with only 4 Gb of hard disc)
Thanks for ANY Idea's...my 7 year old would REALLY appreciate it.

Unless you can do the repairs yourself, the labor charges alone (not including parts) would cost you way more than that machine is worth......

best bet would be to invest in a bit newer machine and part out/sell the components of the old one for whatever $$ you can get for them

you should be able to find a slightly newer one for ~$100-200 on ebay/cragslist ect....
