The only thing keeping me from fully switching over to PPC is the ability to run 2007 Runescape on my PowerMac G5. Is there any way to compile Osbuddy.jar to work on a older java version so I can run Osbuddy on 10.5.8 Leopard?

Can anyone help me get old school rs to work over PPC? The 2007 version works on my PowerMac, but not anything else...Thanks.

I'm not sure if there's a way to do this, but I'm just chiming in to say that I remember when I first played Runescape. I played it on my PowerBook G3 Pismo. Crazy to think that such a game could run on a machine like that but these days it's near impossible to do most things on the PPC involving interactive websites. :p

It can run, it requires Java 1.5, and can run on PowerPC, but is told it cannot run on Leopard. I haven't tried, but I assume if you edit the .plist file with the required OS X version from 10.6 to 10.5 it may run. It's not an intel binary, it's Java, so it may work.

Could you give it a try and see?
Well funny story, I haven't played RS since 2013, have never cheated or used a macro at all. Tried to log back in last night, and I got banned from RS for 'Macro' and Jagex support is some of the most rude arrogant ass hats you'll ever talk to. So no, sorry.

I'd be willing to pay some Paypal cash if you can get it running on my PPC Mac if your interested.
