"old" TiBook 500, want big LCD!

I have the "old" 500mhz Titanium PowerBook with a VGA connector. Of course that means none of the Cinema Displays will work with my laptop. I'd like to connect at least a 19" LCD display that would work with my computer without having to pay for a $300 adapter. So, what are my options at this point? Sure, I'll eventually get a new PowerBook to go with that new monitor, but that's not feasible at this moment.
