Old TiBook wont startup - advice needed

I have an old Titanium Powerbook that wont startup. I haven't used it in about a year.
I've tried keeping it on charge for a day with and without the main battery inserted (which was knackered before I stopped using it anyway).

Any thoughts on what could be wrong with it? An internal battery problem?

It probably is an internal battery problem. What happens when you press the power button?

If absolutely nothing happens then it might be that the internal bios battery is completely drained. The easiest remedy is to leave your Tibook (complete with main battery) plugged in over a couple of nights (48hrs). Like you I checked after 24hrs and IIRC the power light flickered and that's all I got. After 48hrs it was much better.
