Old USB & Firewire devices & the Mac Pro

Will ALL OF my existing USB & Firewire devices work with a Mac Pro?

Will it be possible to boot from them when using a Mac Pro?

Apparently old PCI-Express video cards will not work with the mac Pro. So I am now wondering about USB & Firewire devices.
