Old Windows iTunes

I have a friend who just got an iPod shuffle but her computer has Windows 2000 and she needs a compatible older version of iTunes that will also support her iPod shuffle. I'm not sure if the older ones will support the shuffle - but is there one that does?

why does she need an older version of iTunes? the latest works with Windows 2000

Apparently she did not have 2000 SP4 installed. We are getting that worked on right now. Thanks.
