Older Apple software downloads -- by the numbers

Moderators: I was unsure of where to post this, move it anywhere you think it belongs...
===========================
I've always found Apple's [older] software downloads search page to provide less-than-optimal results, often presenting choices that don't make sense while searching.

There seems to be no "index" that I've ever been able to locate that enables one to simply "browse through" ALL the numbered entries to search for one or more items. In other words, to have "everything in front of you at once".

So, I decided to create one. I started with "download #1" and tried EVERY successive page in order, until the most recent.

The standard URL I used that "aims" at the Apple Software servers is:

... with the "xxxx" representing an entry number corresponding to a particular piece of software.

The entries are not posted in chronological order. In fact, they seem to "go backwards in time" for some way, then the posting dates are mostly chronological, but some posting dates are still "out-of-order".

"n/a" entries mark where there is either no listing, or a listing existed earlier but has since been moved or deleted. A few "n/a" entries denote pages that have nothing to do with downloadable software.

Because Apple appears to delete or move listings over time, this list cannot be definitive. Rather, it is current to the date on which it was compiled.

I have not done a "test download" for each file. I've only listed the software title that is listed there. There may be several pages with items listed for which the actual downloadable file has been removed -- in other words, if you click "download" you'll get an error saying the file isn't there. I've noted a few of these with the suffix ** affixed.

The file entries appear to end with #2093. I kept checking to #2130, and found nothing more posted. The OS's posted go only to Catalina -- I believe that with Big Sur, the entire paradigm for searching and downloading software updates was changed.

Most of this stuff is outdated, there are even a few files from 'way back in the "Classic OS" days. But again, here's "the entire list", searchable, in one file.

I've posted it in two formats: Apple Numbers and MS Excel.

(There is, of course, no copyright to this document, but I'd appreciate a mention if anyone chooses to "pass it on" ...)

That’s a great list, but it might be more useful in a simple html format. You can open it in Safari, search and directly click on a link. Example attached

That's a good list... but... you left out the original post dates.
Can they be added?

Sorry, I’m not very good with excel. Here is a complete one
