Older coreduo mbp and SSD?

I was wondering if my older mbp core duo would accept a ssd. It now has a 100gb drive and I bet it would get quite a boost in speed with the 2ghz chip and 2gb of ram.
 
It would accept any SSD that is capable of running in legacy SATA 1.5Gbps mode. Check with the manufacturer's website of the SSD you are looking at to be sure.
