Older iMac screen question

I have a "lamp shade" iMac and the motherboard just went south. So I went out and got a new iMac.... WOW... it sure is nice.
My question...... is there any was to use the old 20" screen? Any geeks out there that can give me some thoughts on it? I hate to throw it away.

you can always throw it up on ebay for parts and get a few hundred for it.

its possible, but I could not tell you how to do it...

if you really want to try it I would say that it might be an interesting idea to take it appart yourself
