Ok, came across someone at the university selling them for $40. Done a little research online, but have a question: I came across a lot of people saying that the iSub doesn't work on intel-macs.

So my questions is, is the iSub different than the Soundsticks system (2 speakers and a subwoofer)? Also, does anyone know if this system will work on my macbook pro (Bought August 2008, runs leopard). As its usb-only, it's either going to work or not work.

Thanks in advance!

It'll work fine. I've had the USB SoundSticks for years. I bought the original Intel iMac when it came out, and now I have an aluminum Intel iMac. I've never had any problems at all with either!

I have older soundsticks that worked with my old Imac running os 9.2.2. I tried toi hook them up to a new Imac running 10.5.2 but they don't show up as a sound option. I contacted support at Harman Kardon and they said that mac still supports them. Is there an adapter or anything I need to run them
