Hey guys

I'm looking at buying an external monitor to use with mu MacBook pro. I am not a fan of glossy screens and I can't afford the 30" display. I'm interested in the older 20" or 23" cinema displays, are they worth it? Is anyone still using one at e moment?

I'm thinkining about the 20" just for when I am editing movies and photos for large screen estate.

They are quite nice screens. I've used a 20" on a daily basis for years. It's as good as any screen currently being sold in terms of image quality. Newer screens have more connections and might be better for gaming, but for photos and general computer work the mac monitors are great.

The 23" would be a better choice for photos and video work. I run a 24" monitor with my mbp. It's overkill for everything except photos. For photos the extra screen size makes a huge difference.
