OLED MBP will have FaceID?

They’ll have to eradicate touch Id as iPad Pro with Face ID does not have Touch ID as an alternative biometric option. Nor iPhones with Face ID do.

The Dynamic Island is rumoured to replace the Notch for the eventual OLED redesigned MBP. Whether FaceID comes along with it is pure speculation. The lids are way too thin to house the necessary components found on the iPhone, but this is where some old  style innovation could come into play. What they learn from the incoming iPhone Air in this regard, could lead to having it on the Mac. However, with Tim at the helm, if the margins don’t allow it, it’s not coming no matter how good having it could be. To be fair though, TouchID is awesome as is.

I really wish it wouldn't. There's no way to interact with a laptop outside of a keyboard, FaceID just adds to the price without adding much anywhere else.
