:eek::eek:

I keep reading about the horror stories of Oleophobic coating wearing off....and that is the primary reason why I have a screen guard on my iPhone4.

Please share stories of the oleophobic coating wearing off. How long before it happened....how bad...and if it was caused by any accidental mishap (windex, greasy fingers, etc).

Mine's worn off, but it's not really a "horror". It's bound to happen right?
It wore off after a year but it's only because I wipe my phone with those disinfectant towels and I use Windex (I'm a clean freak). My phone now attracts fingerprints like mad.

Hi,

I use a small contact cloth that came with my Nokia n900.

No need for wipes etc as this removed the finger prints with ease.
