Hello.

I have just been given a full set of Olympus OM lenses from my dad, and a very very old SLR camera from when he was my age (19). So its all pretty old gear.

I was just wondering if there are any adapters available to i can use these OM lenses with my new nikon D3000 DSLR. I know i won't get AF or anything but these OM lenses are too good to just not use.
I have found the M42 adapter but i'm not sure if this is what i need.

Any help would be great, thanks.

You can, but since Nikon bodies are thick, you need an adapter with a corrective lens - sort of defeats the purpose of using old glass.

To be perfectly honest with you, old glass is starting to shoot up in price. You're better off auctioning it off and spending the money on new glass, or in your case, old classic Nikon glass.
