I really, really want a Red leather SmartCover. On Apple website the wait is 3-5 weeks, I believe. I sure wish Apple had more stores! The closest store to me is in Omaha, NE and they say they have plenty in stock but they won't ship one for me 
Has anyone ever convinced an Apple store to ship to them in order to help save them a 90 minute drive or a 2 month wait? If so, how did you do it? I was super nice, but felt like I was talking to a robot. I'm sure these employees are probably just tired of answering ipad2 questions. Sure wish I knew someone in Omaha who was going to the Apple store and would be willing to get one for me, stick it in a free Priority Mail envelope and mail it to me for a small PayPal profit!
