OMG! An actual FB app???

I am not sure. Waiting for some replies before I buy it.
 
Currently in this version you can:

- Keep up with your friends via chat

There has to be someone that has used this. Says it's been out for a while. I have never seen it in the Appstore.
 
just use flipboard. prettier interface. If you need notifications get the iPhone Facebook app and bury it in a folder somewhere.

Flipboard is beautiful for Facebook.

Tried it and don't like. Plus, not getting an app then have to get another app to get info to use in the first app. Nope!
 
Zuckerburg said he won't release a FB app for the iPad.

The Safari version works fine. Yes, there's no chat but most people are offline anyways. Just use the FB app on your phone if it's that important.

Flipboard is nice for reading statuses/looking at photos but my idea of using facebook is chat, Places check-in, inbox, games, events and more all of which you can't do using Flipboard.

The app that the OP posted looks pretty good, I may try it. Just because it's not an official app doesn't mean it's not good or won't work as well.

When Zuckerburg made the comment about "not being mobile" it didnt mean there wasnt going to be an iPad app. The event he said that at was for the mobile phone platform, not tablets/iPads. So when he said, "the iPad isnt mobile," he meant that it wasnt a mobile phone and didnt have anything to do with what they were deploying that day.

And to the OP, that is not the official Facebook app. Its made my another company. Most of the Facebook iPad apps just take m.facebook.com and make it prettier.
 
i got excited for this too but honestly, as much as all the facebook apps for ipad suck, i'm not even excited for an official app because of how bad the iphone app is.
