I always thought I wanted a Yellow Lab, but I have changed my mind. Who could resist this guy? Such a cute face, and little stubby legs :). Does anyone have one? I know this post is useless but he/she is so cute I had to share with someone, and MR is the only place to do that at 3AM :).

I've got two corgis, and they're terribly cute. They're also very devoted herding dogs, (not by upbringing, mind you), which means they're very bossy. Corgis are very smart, incredibly cute, and very good at getting what they want.

Great dogs, though.

I have a golden lab and my girlfriend has two welsh corgis and a shitzu

Labs are amazing companion dogs. Very intelligent and very playful. This maybe a problem however. They need a lot of attention as a puppy, meaning plenty of walks and plenty play time! ALOT of play time. They can be a little high maintenance too... And have been known to be very naughty, such as chew furniture etc. My lab was actually very well behaved, but it had a lot of attention,

Corgis are fantastic dogs, and apparently have much more fun when in 2's. They don't need as much excerise but obviously still require the attention. They are generally not as known for being misbehaved as they don't get bored as easy mainly because they are a smaller dog so they generally have less energy... Meaning not as much maintenance, if that makes sense

Just my 2 cents :)

I personally dont like Corgis. There is one who lives across the road and he is a yappy dog... he needs a kicking :p

I don't have one, but my taxes keep 5 corgis and 4 dorgis (corgi-dachsund cross) in Pedigree Chum and chew toys.

But in reality, I happen to know for a fact that your taxes were used to fund a study into the viability of growing Belgian endives in Aberdeen.
Maybe, but unfortunately the experiment ended when 5 corgis and 4 dorgis escaped from Balmoral and trampled the saplings.

More government waste

I remember an owner getting pathologically upset as I kicked his pitbull in the head as it was about to bite my leg. I can't abide badly raised semi-deranged hounds.

The thing about cute puppies is that they crap everywhere of course until they're house trained. An ex-GF of mine used to have corgi puppies... and even now, I sometimes look at where I'm going to put my feet when getting out of bed. I did not fancy doing the involuntary diagonal split when putting one foot on the floor and finding that something was very slippery underneath.

Please barf at your leisure. I was in the shower for a good hour, attacking myself with various household chemicals while she laughed her head off.

U kicked teh guy's dog? i find it weird that cops have to shoot pitbull many times becfore they stop attacking, but one of your kicks made him stop, something in my head says that he was not going to bite your leg, (by the way this dogs won t stop their attack not because they are dangerous but because they are loyals to they owners more than most breeds and will die before not doing what their owners want them to do, I am a huge lover of pitbulls as you can see) aside from that, my pitbull would never try to bite anyone or attack any other dog (thats right not all pitbull are violent most aren't actually) mine runs and hides behind me when he sees a mean squirrel ahahha so i would never be in that situation, so if I found out someone kicked my dog, oh wow...one of those cases, forget the dog, beware of owner...
