"Has TSMC chip for maximum battery life."

If I was buying a iPhone 2nd hand then I would prefer the TSMC chip
Not something I would pay extra for but its something I would consider for sure.

But these people are generally looking for a profit so they will use any and all language they can to get the sale. Nothing really to shake your head at or be disappointed in

Yes, it might make sense here to get less questions. But on eBay for example most people will get confused and you have to answer hundreds of questions about what the "word" TSMC means and maybe just a few that ask if it has a Samsung or TSMC chip in it.

I think you are 100% right! A story broke saying one chip was better than the other. Apple then said no it isn't, not in real world situations. And that was that. The only place I've heard about it since is here. Haha
Yeah, I totally agree with this.

If I sat down three of the people that I work with that have iPhones and started to explain the chip in their phone it would go right over their head. They don't know and they don't care. Because it's totally irrelevent to them. What matters is being able to use the phone. None of them have a lifestyle where an extra 10-30 minutes of battery life is critical to their well-being.

Say what you want, but I've had both and my current 6s with the Samsung chip has SIGNIFICANTLY reduced battery life. I used a TSMC phone for months without ever seeing the Low Power warning. Since using the phone with the Samsung chip, I see it at the end of every day.

People here will believe Apple before they will believe users even if you provide proof!

Think on the bright side, those who really want a TSMC iPhone 6s Plus can feel assured and get this instead of wasting time and resources exchanging at the Apple store for one.

Good luck to them. The average joe will not care, and but the cheaper option.

I don't see the issue. $845 would be an excellent price point on Swappa and while the mentioning of the TSMC chip might not mean a thing to most, it also might be the simplest of things in terms of reeling in a buyer like many who peruse these forums. Let's face it, whether you think it is a legit issue or a load of sh*t, it's managed to get 100+ pages worth of discussion around here so using it as a selling point is clever if nothing else.

Ok forgive me if this was covered elsewhere but has ANYONE found any measurable, quantifiable advantage for TSMC vs. Samsung iPhones?

TSMC supposedly has better battery life. I saw this video a couple of days ago and it kinda summarizes what some are saying in terms of performance or lack thereof:

It's in Spanish.

good to the seller that there are people having imaginary ocd-this-and-that. take the money and run fast!

Right, because we all know everything claimed on sale sights is accurate. You always get the merchandise as described. "Brand new iPhone 6s Plus box, still wrapped. Must sell only $740." Customer receives product, yup genuine iPhone box, just no iPhone inside. ;)
