Cool. I just saw a car yesterday, with a licence plate that says IMAC. The car also had two apple stickers on it.

One was old skool, one was white.

Neat.

:D

A couple weeks ago I saw a license plate that said "APL 2GS" Obviously, it's IIGS, but he had to make do with only 6 letters since Missouri sucks and limits plates to 6 characters even though 8 would fit.

That is a cool number plate. I found one saying G5 MAC a year ago but it was £450 :( It would look good too.

I don't kow why people find my username so annoying. I have found it so once in which my macguide could not be in my own name due to it but i like it. The avatar is posted in the Avatars thread in the Picture Galery and yes number plates are thatexpensive. They start at £200 but ncrease to quite a lot. The DVLA have found it necessary to ban a few like W4 NKA because they are too rude. I would love that number plate though :p

Because the letters have to be capital, I think IPOD and IMAC look stupid on car license plates.

So, I was down in Rolla, MO (white trash capital of the world) today, and since some redneck was unable to fit his racist thoughts on a 6 letter license plate, he decided to use stick on letters from a hardware store to write out "Killin Coons". Some people need to be killed. And I know if I saw someone beat the crap out of him, I wouldn't be the one to call the cops.

I once saw "I MACK" on a license, but I don't think he was talking about computers.

Haha, That's great. Who knows? What kind of a car was it? Did it have loud pipes and decals--- That may clue us in on what he was trying to tell the world

Yeah, well if that's the case, then he should've spent the money on the R and A so no one thinks he's a racist ******* ;)

They're similar prices down here - not to buy them from the RTA but in the paper. If you can find a buyer you can make huuuuuge profits on personalised number plates - get them from the RTA at whatever they cost to produce and sell them for thousands of dollars.

I've seen plates advertised for sale in the weekend paper for upwards of A$15,000. Ones with lots of 8's are very sought after, especially in the Chinese community - I think a number plate that was just "8888" was advertised for around $10,000, and people will pay it.

The price from the RTA depends on what type of plate you get, there are a number of different types from standard NSW number plates (if you're clever you can make them say all sorts of things) to fully personalised plates which offer more relaxed rules about how many letters and numbers you want. There are also a stack of colour options (red, blue, yellow, white, black, gold etc.) and also some "european style" NSW plates that look really good on Euro cars.

nice :D but how did SUX get past the DMV?

Surely they wouldn't censor "SUX" would they? Nobody could be that uptight.

My old boss' numberplate was "MPussy" he told the RTA it related to his business and they let the "*****" bit by. I've seen heaps of good ones, my ex-girlfriend has "ISS 0FF" and was on her "P" plates at the time so with the plate beside the numberplate it said "P""ISS 0FF"

I've also seen one that said "T1T 53X"

Oh, in the US they can be. Remember, this is the same country that cried a storm when Janet Jackson's tit was exposed for half a second.

Hah! That's right, I'd forgotten. That little bit of footage was replayed over, and over and over and over on the news here. :D :D
