OMG New iPhone dropped on the floor

LOL already, eh? Bound to happen eventually...his appeared to still be working at the end of the video, though, happily. :)

I went more than a year without dropping my RAZR, and probably the same for my Nokia before that. I went maybe 2.5-3 years without dropping my iPod. But with all hats off to people far more coordinated than I am, I do not see it as realistic to have a cell phone and never drop it, even once. So I'm glad that they worked hard on ruggedizing it.
 
I dropped mine twice today, so there are two scratches... better get a case
 
I saw that earlier today. Looks painful but it seems quite stupid to open it like that.
 
Someone needs to do like a slide drop. The kind of drop where you drop it and it slides a good 3 feet before stopping screen first. By someone, I mean that PCWorld guy.
 
please enlighten me as to why you would drop a phone worth $2000? (after contracts, it is $2000)

i have never even dropped my $70 nokia 8390
