my jb 1.1.3 is fine and everything, and i was changing something in customize and it froze up, i let it sit there then after 5 min it went to apple logo and then into recovery mode. is there anyway for me to get back my jb ipod or do i have to re jailbreak it. also could someone tell me why it does this at all

Well... Customize isn't tested to work with 1.1.3, so it's probly just another massive error they need to iron out. And, if you are on a Mac, i hear iFuntastic can pull it out of recovery mode... Try ZiPhone on a windows, you'll need to re-jailbreak, but you'll keep all your files/apps... I think. Im not sure. Don't sue If you iPod dies.
