Omnipage app in apps folder

The app omnipage has never been used by me. I have not been able to find any info in help. I don't know how to use this app, I tried to open it and it closed immediately! Can someone provide details please? Meanwhile i'll check google.

OmniPage is OCR software. I've never used it (nor do I have it), but maybe you can try opening a PDF or image with it, and see if that works (use the Open With dialog).

I will have to get back to since I don't know how to use this app at this time. Advice anyone?
