How satisfied are you with the new iPhone 5?

Don't forget to say why you chose the rating you gave.

Not going to vote since I don't actually own one yet, but I've used friends pretty extensively and I'm pretty impressed with the i5. iOS6 however is a different story. I'm happy with iOS6 in the sense that it works great, but I was really wanting more features out of it, to me it really feels like 5.x update and not a 6.0

Giving it a 9 because the fit and finish is a downgrade from the 4/4S (as far as where the glass strips at the top and bottom meet the aluminum back). Aluminum band is flawless though. We also have the return of the exposed Apple logo (as opposed to it sitting behind the glass on the 4/4S), meaning it'll most certainly get scratched at some point.

Other than these, it's a decent update in every other ways.

7. Perhaps due to my usage habits. I commute much more now so I am not satisfied with battery life.

If it wasn't for my WiFi issues I would give it a 10. It's a great phone otherwise.

5 - It feels and performs very similar to the 4/4S but now I can see one more email on screen. So overall I like it but im also not impressed.

8 out of 10. If it didn't scratch so easily I'd give it 10.

9.5. My only complaint is that in order to connect to my Microcell (which is an absolute necessity at my house unless I'd like to drop fully 75% of all calls), I have to disable LTE. Is it a deal-breaker? By no means. Is it aggravating as hell? Most certainly. Also, just noticed that we're back to autocorrecting "hell" to "he'll." grrrrr.

10

While room for bug fixes that always come, this is easily my favorite iPhone upgrade yet.

9/10. Excellent improvement IMO. I love the thin and lightweight unibody design, LTE is amazing, general snappiness of the OS is fantastic, and I dig the larger screen.

I gave it a 9 because it meets all my expectations and exceeds some. -1 as I don't believe in perfect 10s

8.5, which I rounded to 9, because Maps needs improvement, and this will scratch a bit more easily than the 4S. Otherwise, this is a vastly improved phone (LTE, faster processor, more screen room, but just as easy to use one-handed).

8. My only gripes are the lack of a notification LED, the fact that it scratches easily and the dated feeling of iOS. Besides that its the best iPhone yet as they say.

I was at an 8 with the 4s so I would say 9.5 with the 5. The screen could be wider and that would put it at a 10. I am not that hung up about the little dings that came on the phone because I will get it replaced with a good one at some point. The screen really looks great. I was comparing some pics last night on the 4s and 5 and the difference is very noticable. The 5 has better color saturation and it also has deeper blacks which gives the pictures more of a 3D feel to them. Since the resolution was the same I didn’t expect that big of an improvement. I know people want an overhaul of iOS but after using an HTC One X for a couple weeks I can say that I am pretty happy with iOS. If they do an overhaul for iOS 7 then great but if not I’m ok with that too.

Everyone phone starts off at a 10 for me. I take 1 point off for everything I find wrong or don't like about it.

iPhone 5:
1 point off for touch screen sensitivity and flickering
1 point off for loose power button that makes a noise when I shake phone

That makes it a 8/10 for me.

Gave it a 10

I had the iPhone 4 and never got the 4S. I thought the 4S was cool but not worth the upgrade. Looking at the 5, it is a tad bit better than the 4S, but the form factor change and processer sets it up for whatever updates to iOS that Apple is gearing up. Its potential is worth a lot, and the features have worked great for me.

A 9. It has its quirks, but it's still the original and way more more beautiful than anything out there. Even if softer than Reynolds Wrap...:(
