On event days, when does the store go down?

When Steve gives a keynote address, doesn't the online store usually go down? Doesn't this usually mean that something will be available for order after it comes up?
It is about 1 hour and 15 minutes before the Keynote and the store is still up. When does the store usually go down?

Yeah... I'm waiting for it to go down. I realize once it is down it will not come up until after the keynote. I'm waiting to see when or if it goes down.

What miles is saying is that you'll be refreshing store.apple.com until the end of the keynote.

Pretty sure the store goes down at the end of the keynote, or part way through.....or not at all, as they don't always put new things up for sale/pre-order straight away.
