on iPhone 3g, what features can be used?

So I've upgraded to 4 on my 3g -- but of course, no fun wallpaper. What about folders? Or anything else that is cool? I can't find a list of what works on each device anywhere.

get the apps shaking and drag on top of another app and it creats a folder. The folders name is determined by the app you drag it to but you can rename.
It worked on my 3G
