I dont know why - but the powers that be, decided that we in the UK should have a male voice for Siri!

I would really prefer to have the choice (so I could have the sultry female Siri you guys in America get!) - or at least be able to download the female voice.........

...maybe we should start a campaign!!!

For me (USA), I can go into Settings>General>Siri and change to the UK male voice, so maybe you can change to the American voice
 
He can change to the American voice but it might have trouble recognising everything he says because of the accent. He wants it to stay as English UK but with a female voice.

I noticed that if I changed to the UK voice it had trouble recognizing me. It must be my accent. :rolleyes:
 
You can change it to the US woman one but not sure how tough it would be voice wise but saying that if your accent is easy to understand it shouldn't be an issue.
