on macs you can view trhe iphone on screen, completely, can you on windows

If you don't understand what I mean, I will try and elaborate, I am a noob when it comes to the inner workings of the iphone but I a learning. I am trying to see if I can get something on my windows computer, I have seen a few screenshots and videos on youtube, where te person has there computer screen on and you can see the iphone on the screen, can I get that or is that not possible.
and if someone could give me a really idiot proof guide to ssh, i know it sort of but i don't really get it if you know what I mean.

You can but your iPhone has to be jailbroken.

Jailbroken -> get Veency -> then Remote VNC to the iPhone. This works in Windows/Mac since you just need a VNC client.
