Resolved "on my mac only" photos..?..

my iphoto library is shared between my macbook and my iphone. i noticed today that i have (under the number shown for photos & videos), "7 Items on This Mac Only".

is there a way to upload these to icloud? i found them (made a smart album of photos 'referenced'). how to i fix this?...

anyway... photos could not find the original files, so i screenshotted them, deleted the ones IN photos, and reimported. so all is well (not really sure why this happened, but have my photos).
