on startup from the lock screen, dark gray screen momentarily.

Every so often, after I login from the lock screen, the screen goes dark grey, the mouse cursor still there, for a minute or so, then the wallpaper appears. anybody experiencing this?

Yes! Check the top left in the Menu Bar, does it say "Installer" something something really quick, too? I'm wondering if some plugin or something is trying to run at login and has to do something?
