I have a 2019 loaded up MacBook Pro. Ive been pushing it hard with increased amounts of video editing lately, I have the 2TB model, and my files are BIG, so Ive been pushing the capacity on the drive. I have always preferred the scissor keyboard.

And now I wake up this morning....

Upgraded graphics, 32GB RAM, double capacity on drive, scissor keyboard is official, Im just wondering how it will handle heat.

I get a nice discount from my company, so I'll be saving a few hundred. Also curious how much I could get for the 2019 to minimize the hit on upgrading.

Decisions decisions

You should consider getting the 16" instead as it has a dedicated graphics card which will give you much more performance for hard video editing than the integrated ones on the 13".

Resell value has likely dropped now, since the new ones released today come with double base storage and/or RAM.

Agree with post above. If you're pushing a relatively current 13 model with video editing, the newer 13 might help you out a bit, but the 16 is really what you should be considering if anything at all. Having that dedicated graphics card is going to make a world of a difference.

Definitely appreciate the comments. The problem is I use my MacBook for work and am on the road a lot. The 13" is the perfect size, it always has been. I actually REALLY appreciated it when they made it smaller after 2015. The higher end models upgrades are significant.
