hi-

i recently had to send my ibook G$ inot apple for service. i was not able to get the computer to boot up - it started happening after i was on travel and had the hotel store my bookbag for a few hours. grr...

anyway, the returned it and had the harddrive replace. i have a backup from about a month ago i want to put on the new harddrive. this was backed up using the apple backup software.

my question is exactly how to return the backed up data into the new harddrive. i have not had to do it before and really don't want to mess it up.

could someone walk me through the steps? i have transferred the entire backup folder onto the new computer, so i just need to move the appropriate files to the right location in the new harddrive.

thanks!
