On Verizon am I able too take my phone off with putting on another phone?

Today I'm selling my white 4s, and I don't have another phone to put onto my account, until I buy the black 4s I'm buying. Am I able too keep a phone off that line for a little bit? I have 2 lines on my plan, account.

Verizon should be able to answer that for you, give them a call.

They CAN do it for you, but they won't like to. If they give you a hard time, just buy a cheapo pay as you go phone and have them activate that as a placeholder.

If you currently have unlimited data, make sure you use a smartphone in the interim. You should be able to find something cheap on craigslist. *
