I wouldn't give up voice and data for mobile hotspot but that's just me, and if I needed a moble hotspot I would just jailbreak and get MyWi

Are you ****ing serious? No voice and data at the same time on VZW is not new. Again, tradeoffs. I'll take cell service over that "feature" any day of the week.

And I don't have to choose because I get great AT&T service.

For me, the biggest surprise was that it didn't include a GSM radio so it can't be used outside of the US.

So should we start buying Apple stock now? I mean Verizon people get the iPhone who have never owned a mac in their life, see how great it is and then decide to get more apple products. Seeing how great my iPhone 3G and how well put-together it was made me get a mac for college. I think there is a lot of potential for Apple to gain here.
