On my 12" MBA 2012, on waking from sleep in Mojave, occasionally (not always) the screen, for a fraction of a second, goes mush, and then it snaps into normality. The mush appearance looks a lot like the screen in my old MBP when its graphics card died.

Does this indicate that the graphics card of my MBA 11" is on its last legs? This mush appearance does not happen when, rather than sleeping, I shut down and boot up. It only happens when the MBA awakens from sleep.

Is it the sleep-awake bug that I heard was in Mojave?

I'm running the latest 10.14.6

I have a mid 2012 13" MBA and it has recently done something similar. If I wake it from sleep and then swipe up with 3 fingers to view all open apps/windows, one of the apps is grey mush. I'll tap on that one to bring it full screen and it returns to normal within a few seconds. Has happened twice, both times with the Books app I believe.

I've had a few of those issues for sure and I can't understand why

Usually I can get out of it pretty easily but it's still annoying. More annoying than the keyboard, which I actually don't mind.
