One bar, no carrier name

Hope someone can assist me. My unlocked and jailbroken iPhone 4 was working just fine on T-Mobile (4.0./01.59).

I then started downloading an MMS fix in Cydia, rebooted and now I am stuck. I have 1 signal bar and no carrier name. No nothing. I briefly got an invalid SIM message, rebooted and then havent seen it since. Any ideas?

This can probably be closed. A friend of mine had the same problem. Said he attached a layer of painters tape to the top of the sim and cut around it and it worked for him. I tried it and it seems to have done to trick!
