I have been using super duper to make an image of my MBP drive. Sadly, it does not (at this time) support Big Sur, and I migrated before I checked that... So, have an external large USB drive I have been using to backup other drives to. Was wondering if I can partition it into two drives, and use one partition for Time Machine and the other partition for miscellaneous file/disk backup. I 'think' the answer is yes, just want a sanity check before I go through the trouble of backing up the data that is currently on that large external drive and doing a complete second backup process (Time Machine to one partition and the other stuff to the second partition). Any thoughts appreciated.
