One hand grip or handle to hold iPad, especially for reading

I'm searching for a case, grip or handle for the iPad 2 that will let me comfortably hold it with one hand. I've stumbled across a few products, some not updated for the iPad 2 yet, but I can't seem to burrow my way back to the ones I've seen. Here's one that looks promising but it's more expensive than some. It's also more versatile if you want to buy some of the additional products.

That's a nice product but I already have the Apple magnetic cover so I want something that works with it. I found another possibility down the road but currently they are not in production on the iPad 2 version. It looks interesting and I hope the company gets their product out.

I like this one and it's only $20, but I think the bands look too thick and would require removing it to close the magnetic cover. It's very simple to remove so this is a contender.

Here is another thread on this topic with a few more products. I still haven't found a satisfactory one-handed strap or grip, so I will take a look at what you found.

I did email Otterbox about the use of their Utility Latch on iPad 2, but their reply amounted to "our engineers are still looking into it".
 
Thanks, I thought I'd seen the topic here but it didn't come up with the search terms I used. It's always good to give a link back so both or multiple threads with a similar theme can be viewed.

I still haven't made a decision so I'll check out the other products. I know I saw one that had a ball on the back and maybe that one will turn up on the other thread.

Hi there!

This is Salman Paracha the inventor of Meglio, and I saw us mentioned here, so I wanted to drop in and say hello. Meglio for the iPad 2 is in the works, and as you had wanted, we will make it smart cover compatible.

Given that this is an entrepreneurial venture, I am boot strapping this product with my pocket book. And, because of that we are a bit late coming into the market for the iPad 2.

Just to give you some history on the product. Meglio was conceived to allow mainly for two things to happen. First, to provide a comfortable and secure way to hold the iPad, when on the go. Second, to provide a way to enjoy the iPad hands free, when not on the go. See holding anything in your hand will get tiring and stressful after a while, so I wanted a device that was minimalist in nature that seamlessly went from an ergonomic holder to a lap stand, so that people can comfortably enjoy their news/email/movies for longer without interruption

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your interest!! What's most important to me is to make sure that the quality of the Meglio 2 (for the iPad 2) is upto a high standard of quality, as Apple buyers have come to expect. So, I am working with the manufacturing engineers to iron out details before I start taking pre-orders.

Plus, I don't want to sit on people's money for three weeks and have them worried about the status of their order :)

Its great you joined the mailing list, and in a weeks time or so i'll have some pictures to share with the community and then shortly after that i'll update the site to take pre-orders!
