One last question about refurbs

If I purchase a 2.8 MBP refurb, can I still get Apple Care since the MBP was originally a special order? Also, does a refurb include a brand new battery or would I be getting a battery that already has cycles on it? Thanks again!

Yes you can add Apple Care. The battery shouldn't have that many cycles on it. I would request a replacement battery if it has more than 20-30 cycles on it.

I got the 2.4 unibody refurb last week. It came with a brand new battery. It looks brand new, and has a 1 year warranty.

Apple does not resell used batteries. All refurbs come with new batteries.
