"One more thing..."

There's so much hype about the new Macbook Pros and though I'm definitely interested, I already bought a MBP last year and its been serving me well. What I want now is an iPad 2.

So what are the chances that the iPad will be announced as Apple's famous "One more thing..." with the MBP event? Or will there be any MBP event in the first place considering there hasn't been any invites for a possible release this Thurs? And if they do an event for MBP, will they do an event for iPad 2 so soon afterwards?

I know they'll announce it when they announce it, but you gotta admit that opening up a forum with fellow mac geeks is a great way to spend those long days/weeks/months time until THE day comes!!!

I doubt it for two reasons.

1. Not sure if Steve Jobs will be there to do his trademark "One More Thing..."

2. I find it a bit early for iPad, but possible..

I'm thinking there wont be any media events since
1: both the MacBook and the iPad will be spec upgrades
2: Steve staying home most of the time.
3: No new products until Summer or Fall.

i'm thinking apple will do the ipad with the iOS 5 preview in march.
