This is my situation:

  • There are multiple users each with their own iPhones/iPods/iPads, etc.
  • Each with their own particular tastes in music/podcasts, etc.
  • Each with their own computer to update their iPhones/iPods/iPads, etc.

This is what I want to do (or something close to it):

  • Have one library (i.e., hard drive) that stores ALL the music for all the users.
  • Have each user be able to add more music to the library from their own computer.
  • All the music/podcasts should be available to everyone.

I think that's it. Basically, what I want to do is have one library for all the users and that we all build this library together (rather than, "hey, can you add this to the library?").

Is this possible? If so, how do I go about doing it and what would I need?

Thanks.
