if that is the griffin reveal then i hated like it for my 3gs but hated it. i hated it because so much dust and crap would get under there and then end up scratching the back all up and putting little pits in the plastic.
I just placed an order for one because I love the way the case looks and I only use a case when I'm out doing something high risk like a beach or amusement park and I don't need a flash during the day. I'm not worried about scratching because I used a skin on the back too. So basically this case is perfect for me. I had it on my 3gs as well and after going through at least 10 different cases it turned out I liked this one the best.
How so? I've got the Reveal (and my Leica skin - check out the mod!) and I'm taking pictures just fine.
As much as I love your mod, there is a drastic difference between photos with the case on and with the case off. Someone posted their photos over on the accessory board, and they were much like mine. It is difficult to explain. Check out the photos.
Mine came in straight from Griffin via UPS earlier today (good coupon codes on retailmenot).
It is a great case... might could be a tad snugger, but that's my only complaint. You can barely see the back, it doesn't stick on your pocket, doesn't collect lint. Plus, it has more padding (more potential protection during a fall) than I had anticipated considering it's thin form.
I recommend (whatever that's worth)!

It will collect lint. Just wait. I've had mine on since Wednesday, and it is a lint magnet. Plus I hate the flash interference. :-(

Haven't found either to be a problem -- pics are fine and not a lot of dust and junk yet. Appreciate the warnings though and I'm going to hang onto it for a few more days just to be sure. I actually really like it so far!
This. All that clear plastic will absorb the flash and create a white spot around the lens.

Yep, I had this for my 3GS. AFter awhile, it will collect lint and dust and make your phone look butt ugly, and possibly scratch it.
