"Between the Hedges"
One of the funniest Nigerian emails I have received to date :D
Complete with an "official" masthead

Click for larger version to read... and tell me what part you find to be the funniest part for you. For me, it is where it says "get back to me if the name above is yours..." while the name above is "Dear sir / madame"

I lol'd. Especially like him telling me to ignore the other emails and the cc's were a nice touch.

I find the CCs on the bottom hilarious ... the FBI and the Attorney General?

The guy who wrote it is probably the smartest guy in his village ... folk hero status.

You know it's legit when the FBI is CC'd.

If you don't want to take advantage of this amazing deal, I will. After all, it is from the United Nation. All the other nations be darned.

I really do wish there were statistics on how many people actually fall for this type of letter. It's almost illegible, and obviously a complete scam. But I would bet you my life savings that there are a decent number of people who respond.

The cc'ed addresses were a nice touch!

Ignoring other scam artists is funny. Guess they are not playing fair! :D

I would be curious to see as well.

Dawg,

Forward me email one that now. I must take advantage of before they gave away all monies.

:D

i found a scam running from craigslist for free puppies, some guy who moved to africa and would send the dogs back over here. that was new to me.

I also would like to know how well they do with these! Have to get an incompetent person now and then.

But...there was a cartoon, a huge sailing yacht in a tropical paradise. The balloon says: "Well, I got an email from Nigeria...".
