This is a revelation & I’m disappointed I hadn’t checked it earlier…I’d had enough of Siri confirming things (often incorrectly of course), especially at night when it’s more annoying - if there was a night mode setting that made Siri speak at lower volume during certain hours (like Google Assistant) it’d be bearable, but complete silence is even better!
Although I’m pretty sure Siri was quieter by default & an IOS update along the way woke her up 😒
