So, i have a pair of harman kardon soundsticks and would really like to use them with both my tv and my mac (they are side by side) however there is only one analog 3.5mm jack from the soundsticks, what would be the best thing to use? I tried searching but no luck im afraid. Would really appreciate some help, thanks.

Awesome! Thanks for your help, now just need to find these cables in UK.

I would not recommend using a splitter to connect two devices to one set of powered speakers. The reason? It is a bad idea to connect two outputs together. If you use a splitter, the TV output and the computer output would be tied together. If you do this, you are asking to damage one or both of the output amplifier sections.

If you want to use one pair of powered speakers for two different sources, you should either get an A/B box (allows you to select one source or the other, but not both) or a mixer (which would allow you to listen to both at the same time).

Once again, it is a bad idea to connect two outputs together.
