I was looking at my settings, and it looked like after the update my mail settings went from all being off to push and fetch.

I turned off fetch new data and set it to manually and that seems to have improved my battery life.

Before this, i had just charged my phone and it went from 100 to 83 in about 90 mins but after making this small change its going from 83 to 81 in about an two hours.

Hope this small tips helps some people with battery issues.
I am going to fully charge over night and see how it does tomorrow.

Since my phone died today after only being on for about 9 hours of use

Wow, thank you. Immediately after reading this I checked my mail in settings and realized it was set to push. I never have mail set to push.

To be honest my battery wasn't bad since updating but this will definitely help.
