really ? it took you this long to figure it out ?

anyway, the added resolution the iphone 4 isn't that big a deal if you're comparing it to 800x480 handsets like the desire and nexus one.

its not the size of the 4.3 inch screen thats the issue, its the quality of the screen. The iPhone 4 has what Apple calls a Retina Display (4 times the amount of pixels, so texts and images look sharper).

My understanding is that WP7 has some issues around text rendering at certain zoom levels so I'd expect this to be something that's looked at in a future update.

The iPhone 4's display has 4 times the number of pixels of the iPhone 3.

It has 1.6 times the number of pixels of the HD7.

no dude it's RETINA DISPLAY

it's 4x the resolution of any monitor ever made, I mean that's what steve jobs said and omg iPhone front glass is completely unbreakable because I saw a video of it inthe internets

it's sad how gullible/little people know about basic technology specifications.

It is called the Retina Display, what Apple says is that it does have more pixels than any other phone. Even though some phones have bigger screens the iPhone still has more pixels because it has a better pixel density.

That fad has faded, and is not an issue - and never was.

I can make phone calls just fine on mine. I wonder if they accidentally bought an iPod Touch and are mistaking it for an iPhone? I hear the Touch has like zero bars when you hold it a certain way.

That would be true if... iPhone screen was as big as this picture. But it is not and what you see in reality on these two phones have very little in common with what these snapshots show.

Also, I love how the screen is glued onto the glass (just like the original iPhone). That, plus the IPS technology really makes the screen like a printed piece of paper.
