iPod touch One Side Thicker Than The Other?

I dont know why I feel like this but sometimes I think one side of the touch is bigger than the other. I put the touch on a few tables and i tapped on all sides... It wobbled! It gets quite toasty but you guys say that it is the heat from my hand. Anyone else have this particular problem?
